Accessing CAN bus with embedded computer

CAN with Flexible Data-Rate (CAN FD) is an extension of the classic CAN protocol (CAN Controller Area). CAN FD extends the bandwidth of Classic CAN by shortening the bit times and increasing the data field to up to 64 bytes, to enable up to 8 times the data set. CAN FD is part of ISO 11898-1:2015

The AnaGate CAN series

All current models in the AnaGate CAN series now also allow access to CAN-FD networks. All CAN ports on the different AnaGate models can be used either as Classic CAN or CAN-FD interfaces. In particular, the AnaGate CAN F2/F4/F8 desktop devices, the DIN rail models AnaGate CAN FX2/FX4/FX8 models and the AnaGate CAN FZ8/FZ16 models for 19-inch housings allow access to CAN FD.
